Dear Ms. Cruz:

On July 30, we received our purchase (P.O. Number: RS56708) as we requested. When we took one of the wicker baskets out of the box, we found that it had several holes on the side.We checked the others just in case. Thirteen baskets out of the 30 that we ordered had holes. We are attaching photos which show the damage.

We cannot sell products like these, as you know, and this results in a serious delay in our new project.Considering the damage, we request immediate replacement of the defective merchandise.

We have been doing business with your company for many years, and we are absolutely confident that you will respond promptly to this matter and correct the problem in keeping with our longstanding trust in you.

When we took one of the wicker baskets out of the box, we found that it had several holes on the side.: 苦情を伝えるときには特に前置きをせずに、状況の説明から始めます。ここでは「籐かごの1つを箱から出したところ、側面にいくつか穴が開いていることに気づきました」と伝えています。発注していない商品が届いた場合はI am afraid that the products we received on July 30 were not what we had ordered .「7月30日に受け取った商品は、弊社が注文したものではないようです」、注文した商品が届かない場合はOur records show that the delivery date was extended to July 30, but we haven't received our order as of this date.「弊社の記録では配達日が7月30日に延期されたとなっていますが、現時点でまだこちらに届いておりません」などとクレーム内容を伝えましょう。

We are absolutely confident that you will respond promptly to this matter and correct the problem in keeping with our longstanding trust in you.: 締めくくりとして、先方への要望を記載します。ここでは「御社とは長い信頼関係があるので、迅速に問題を解決していただけると信じております」と、素早い対応を求めていることを強調しています。ほかには、Please let me know what we should do with the defective items.「欠陥品をどのように処理すればよいかお知らせください」、Please call us as soon as possible to discuss the problem.「この問題についてお話しするために、早急にお電話をください」、Please update us on the situation.「状況をお知らせください」、We hope to continue to work with you, but it would be impossible until action is taken.「御社との取引を続けたいと思っていますが、適切な処置がとられるまで、それは不可能でしょう」などの表現を使います。
